p>The Children and Family Court Support Service has set up a young people's
board to try and improve its services.</p>
<p>The Centre for Crime and Justice Studies published a report in July 2006
called 'Knife Crime: Ineffective reactions to a distracting problem? It
says, amongst other things, that Government policies on knives don't take
any notice of why young people carry knives, and says that people should
look more closely at the fear which makes young people carry knives, and
think about young people who are victims of knife crime. You can read
